I'm excited about doing some research on Monday even though I'll have to leave early to come home and wait for the shoes I ordered on Thursday. I hate buying shoes. In fact, I hate shoes. If the ground outside weren't so cold and covered with glass and sharpness, I would be barefoot at all times.
Monday will see the next stage in Operation Gnome: infiltrating the Dalton lab with gnomish sneakyness. I picked up my Gnome last Monday from Paint the Town in U Village (I painted him before spring break). He looks great, except for his bag, which turned out to be a really weird color choice on my part.
I haven't decided where I'll put him, but he'll definitely be in a place where he can startle Ilya. Martin is in on it. Hopefully it will lead to a whole big string of harmless, hilarious lab pranks to make research more fun. Hopefully no one will remove the gnome or destroy the gnome or claim the gnome as their own.
In other news:
- I am sleepy today.
- I was late to class four days this week. I'm not even sure how to fix it.
- I need to do laundry.
- Peter might live with me this summer. (yay!) It'll be really nice to have my super awesome study partner back in my life.
- I'm getting more discontent with my apartment all the time.
- I have too much stuff. Dad keeps bringing me more stuff. You should see my bedroom; FULL of stuff.
- My homework is sitting on my yoga mat, looking at me.
